St. John Neumann parish offers small group adult faith formation
Adults may choose from three options for their faith formation:
Several times a year small groups form to discuss a great Catholic book. Look in the bulletin for more information or call Michele at 585-689-0098 for upcoming studies!
All parishioners are invited to faith formation on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month beginning 9/15 and running through May. Adults will meet in Weber hall from 9:00 - 10:15, in small groups, to discuss the current week's readings - and enjoy fellowship. Click HERE for more information.
If you enjoy studying your faith on your own, on-demand, we offer all parishioners a FREE subscription to FORMED. You can find tons of great content to study at your own pace. To create your own account:

A new study is forming:
33 Days to Morning Glory
Looking for the quickest, surest, and easiest way to holiness, but don't know where to begin? In our hectic day and time, Saint John Paul II and Blessed Mother Teresa knew that the quickest way to be transformed into a saint is through consecration to Our Blessed Mother, Mary. Find out how in this series!
Consecration to Jesus through Mary, also known as Marian Consecration or Entrustment, is nothing new in the Church. The goal of this program is to lead us to formally entrust ourselves to Mary, as Christ did at the Annunciation and as He willed for His disciples to do at the foot of the Cross. Find out both the theological basis for this consecration, as well as the practical difference it will make in your life.
How does it work? We'll study the thoughts of four saints: St. Louis de Montfort, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. John Paul II, and Blessed Mother Teresa. There are short, daily readings (2-3 pages) that you ponder, as well as optional questions you can answer in the study guide/retreat companion.
Each participant will have a choice of two ways to participate in our parish-wide study:
Weekly Classes: There will be an introductory meeting followed by five weekly meetings. At the weekly meeting, there is a small-group discussion, followed by a 30-minute video. The intro meeting will be on Monday, January 6th at 7:00 pm THEN, weekly meetings on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. that will begin on January 9th at St. Mary’s Parish Office meeting room on the 1st floor.
Home-Based Study: If you cannot make the weekly meetings, you can still participate in our parish study at home! Simply provide us with your email address and we will email you links to the videos and the online retreat companion. You can then follow along in your book and watch the videos from the comfort of your home (an internet connection to stream or download the videos will be needed).
Materials:
The 33 Days to Morning Glory book is free and available at the back of the church (both sites).
